Shank buttons
Sew-on metal buttons with a rear loop, for tailoring and outerwear.
Where a tack button would be too industrial, a shank button is sewn on like a conventional button but carries a metal face. The loop is soldered or cast integral depending on the size. This is the line most often ordered with a custom die — the face is effectively a small coin.
