Material & finish matrix
Ten plating finishes across brass, steel, zinc alloy and aluminium. Every one below is the same part under the same light, so what you are comparing is the finish and nothing else.
Antique brass
The denim default. Warm, slightly browned, hides handling marks better than any other finish we run.
Antique copper
Redder and darker than brass. Reads as heritage workwear; popular on jeans buttons and rivets.
Nickel / silver
Bright silver-white. The cleanest option for shirting and lighter fabrics, and the easiest to match across suppliers.
Gun metal
Cool grey-black with a soft sheen. Sits quietly against dark denim and technical outerwear.
Gold
Full brightness, no ageing. Used where the trim is meant to be the detail rather than the fastening.
Matt black
Non-reflective and modern. Spray-coated rather than plated, so confirm abrasion expectations before bulk.
